In this lesson you will discover how to play the F major chord on the piano.

The F Major Chord has three white notes: F, A, and C. To find the notes, we use the black keys to help us locate the white notes.

Locate the group of three black notes.

Put your left hand pinky on the white note next to the lowest black note of the group of three.

Put your left thumb on the white note that is directly to the left of the group of two black notes.

Place the rest of your fingers on the white notes in-between your thumb and pinky.

Your middle finger is on A. Press the F, A, and C (pinky, middle, and thumb) to play the F Major Chord. Watch the video for more tips on locating each of the notes.
